Patch 1.1

With this update, I took all the feedback I had gotten and made a list of it all. One of the first things I did was fix Rest. The skill was apparently missing. There seemed to have been a five percent chance of it missing, and it was supposed to act as if you were too distracted in the heat of things to take a break. I fixed it to 100% because it is supposed to be a full resting turn, where Goobie won’t take action and choose to heal. That’s fixed, easily.

The next thing was the jars in the last area weren’t taking the self switch. This was an easy fix and now the end isn’t broken where you can cheat and abuse the infinite healing items. Use them wisely, now. Something that was being abused was the Nightblade creator goblin. He makes a comment in the third floor of the cave saying that he helped make the Nightblade, a goblin-exclusive item. He awards the player for picking the item and gives them three apples. He now gifts two, and comments on a new item for more items around the original idea.

In addition to the goblin(s) in the cave, the secret gift of the one on the second floor is revealed in the text in-game. He gives out a free level using a mysterious chant, hinting that maybe goblins can use magic? Regardless of belief whether they do or don’t, a free level is a free level. You’ll also be able to return to this floor now from the third, in order to buy more equipment and get that level if you want to try the challenge after buying those premium items.

The last big change was the patch of grass that told the player about a burnt patch of grass that was giving off a magical sensation. At first, this was supposed to make the player think that magic existed in this world. However, it ultimately did nothing beside that and became a piece of uselessness. Because Goobie doesn’t know magic and it is unclear throughout the game if he ever will, the patch of grass has been replaced with a nice random chest of either gobloons or healing items. It can be either or so use whatever you get wisely.

This update will be released and the link will be updated within a couple of hours after this post goes live.

To keep your save files, please go into the folder where the game is located (whether it is still in your downloads, or documents, or desktop) and copy and paste the save file from the old folder to the newest. Replacing the entire folder will not succeed in saving the save file from deletion.
